Dermapen 4 Skin Needling
Medical-grade microneedling designed to support collagen induction and smoother-looking texture.
Microneedling (percutaneous collagen induction therapy) uses fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, triggering dermal remodeling and new collagen formation. Side effects are usually temporary (redness, swelling, flaking), and most people can return to regular makeup within a day.

HOW IT WORKS
How microneedling works
Microneedling (also called collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive procedure that uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-punctures in the skin. The body responds by healing these micro-injuries, which can stimulate collagen production and support more even-looking tone and texture over time.
01
Controlled micro-channels
A device creates precise micro-channels at controlled depths. These tiny “injuries” are intentional and trigger the skin’s repair response, supporting dermal remodeling over time.
02
Wound-healing cascade
The wound-healing cascade signals fibroblasts and new tissue support, including collagen and elastin formation, which are linked to firmness and texture refinement.
03
Short visible recovery
Visible recovery is usually short. Temporary redness and swelling are commonly reported, and reviews describe microneedling as generally well-tolerated with mostly expected short-term effects (such as erythema and edema).

RESULTS & TREATMENT PLAN
Results and treatment planning
Clients may notice gradual improvement over a course of treatments. For acne scarring, the American Academy of Dermatology notes you may need 3–5 microneedling treatments spaced every 2–4 weeks, and studies have found this plan can fade acne scars by around 50%–70%. Your plan will be personalised based on skin condition, goals and tolerance.
